Sonoma Party Rentals is a locally owned rental company based in Sonoma, CA. We serve families, schools, churches, and event planners throughout Sonoma County, Napa County, and Marin County. Every rental includes professional delivery, setup, and pickup. We bring the slide to your location, inflate and anchor it, walk you through how it works, and return at the end of your rental period to break everything down. You handle the party; we handle the equipment. All of our inflatables are commercial grade, cleaned before every event, and inspected for wear. Just connect a garden hose and a standard 110v power source and you are ready to go.

How Water Slide Rentals Work

Renting a water slide from Sonoma Party Rentals is a simple process from booking to pickup.

 

Choose your slide and reserve it. Browse the inventory on this page, pick the unit that fits your space and group size, and book through the website or by calling us. We recommend reserving at least two to three weeks out for weekend dates in spring and summer. That said, last-minute dates do open up, so it is worth checking even on short notice.

 

We deliver and set up on your event day. We arrive before your start time, set up the slide on a flat surface, connect the blower, and make sure everything is running before we leave. You will need a standard 110v outlet within 100 feet of the setup area and a garden hose connection close by. If you need a generator, we can arrange that for an additional fee.

 

We typically pick up the following morning. When your event is over, we typically return the next morning to deflate, pack up, and haul everything away. You do not need to do anything with the slide. Just make sure the area is clear and accessible when we arrive.

Types of Water Slides We Rent

Single-Lane Water Slide
Our single-lane slides work well for backyard birthday parties and smaller gatherings. The 12-foot Tropical Water Slide and the 15-foot Blue Rush Slide are both good options when space is limited or the crowd skews younger. These units start at $320 and are a practical choice when you do not need the capacity of a larger dual-lane setup.

Dual-Lane Water Slides
Our dual-lane slides let two riders go at the same time, which keeps lines moving at bigger parties and school events. The 16-foot Riptide Racer and the 18-foot Blue Crush and Cascade Rush are all dual-lane units. These are the most popular choice for events with mixed age groups because older kids and adults can actually enjoy them alongside younger kids. Dual-lane slides range from $445 to $495.

Combo Slides (Bounce and Slide)
Several of our combo bounce houses include an attached water slide and can be run wet or dry depending on the season. Units like the Bubble Gum Splash Combo, the Dinosaur Combo, and the Hero Combo give kids two activities in one rental. These are listed in both the water slides and bounce house sections of our inventory. Combo units with water slide capability range from $325 to $350.

How much space do I need for a water slide rental?

Space requirements vary by unit and are listed on each product page. As a general rule, plan for at least 20 to 35 feet of flat, clear space including the run-out area at the bottom. The surface should be level and free of rocks, sprinkler heads, or anything sharp. You will also need a garden hose connection and a standard 110v outlet within 100 feet of the setup area.

How far in advance should I book a water slide?

We recommend booking two to three weeks ahead for weekend dates in spring and summer. Water slides are our most popular rental category during warm months and dates fill up quickly. That said, last-minute availability does happen, so it is worth checking our availability calendar or giving us a call.

What is included with a water slide rental?

Every rental includes delivery, professional setup, and pickup. We inflate and secure the slide before your event and return to break it down when your rental period ends. You just need a flat surface, access to a standard 110v outlet, and a garden hose within reach of the setup area.

Can water slides be used on concrete or just grass?

Most of our water slides can be set up on either flat grass or concrete. On grass we stake the unit; on concrete we use sandbags. The surface needs to be level and clear. If you have a specific surface situation you are not sure about, let us know when you book and we can advise.

Are water slides safe for younger kids?

Our slides are commercial grade and inspected before every rental. That said, we always recommend adult supervision while kids are on any inflatable. For younger children, our 12-foot and 15-foot single-lane slides are a better fit than the larger dual-lane units. Each product page notes the recommended age range.

What happens if the weather is bad on my event day?

We do not set up in thunderstorms, high winds, or severe weather. Light rain is generally fine. If conditions make setup unsafe, we will work with you to reschedule. If you are watching the forecast and have concerns, give us a call the day before or morning of your event and we can figure out a plan.

Do I need to be home for delivery and pickup?

Someone 18 or older needs to be on site during delivery and setup so we can walk through placement and confirm everything is working. For pickup, you do not need to be present as long as the area around the slide is clear and accessible.

Can I rent a water slide for a school or community event?

Yes. We regularly deliver to school carnivals, church picnics, neighborhood block parties, and community events throughout the North Bay. If you need multiple inflatables or want to pair a water slide with tables, chairs, concession machines, or other rentals, we can put together a package for your event.
