How Bounce House Rentals Work

Renting a bounce house from Sonoma Party Rentals is straightforward. Here is how the process works from start to finish:

Pick your bounce house and book online or by phone. Browse our inventory on this page, choose the inflatable that fits your event, and reserve it through our website or by calling us directly. We recommend booking at least two to three weeks ahead for weekend dates during spring and summer, though last-minute availability does happen.

We deliver and set up before your event. On the day of your event, we bring the bounce house to your location, set it up on a flat grassy or concrete surface, and make sure everything is inflated and ready to go. You will need access to a standard 110v electrical outlet within 100 feet of the setup area. If you do not have one nearby, we can provide a generator for an additional fee.

We come back and pick everything up. When your rental period is over, we return to take down the inflatable and haul it away. You do not need to deflate it, fold it, or do anything other than make sure the area is accessible for pickup.

Types of Bounce Houses We Rent

Standard Bounce Houses

These are classic bounce-only units with no slides or extra features. They are a great option for younger kids and smaller events. Our standard bouncers start at $210 and come in a few different color and theme options. They are the most affordable choice in our inventory and still a huge hit with kids.

Combo Bounce Houses (Wet or Dry)

Combos pair a bounce area with an attached slide, and most of our combo units can be used wet or dry. This makes them a solid choice for summer events when kids want to cool off, but they work just as well without water for fall and spring parties. Combo units range from $300 to $350 depending on the size and theme. Options include our Castle Combo, Dinosaur Combo, Unicorn Combo, Hero Combo, and several others.

Themed Bounce Houses

If you are planning a party around a specific theme, we have inflatables to match. Our themed options include a dinosaur combo, a unicorn combo,  Hero Combo, and a gamer-themed Respawn Zone. If you are renting a wet combo or water slide, you will also need a water spigot within reach of the setup area.

What surface do I need for a bounce house?

Bounce houses can be set up on flat grass or concrete. Grass is preferred because we anchor the inflatable with stakes. On concrete or asphalt, we use sandbags instead. The surface needs to be level and clear of rocks, sticks, or anything sharp. We also need the setup area to be a few feet larger than the inflatable on all sides.

Are your bounce houses safe for younger kids?

Yes. All of our inflatables are commercial grade, cleaned before every rental, and inspected for wear and tear. We recommend adult supervision at all times while kids are playing. For very young children (under 5), our standard bounce houses without slides are usually the best fit.

What happens if it rains on my event day?

Light rain is generally fine for inflatables, but we will not set up in thunderstorms, high winds, or severe weather for safety reasons. If the weather makes setup unsafe, we will work with you to reschedule your rental. Give us a call if you are unsure about your event day forecast and we can figure out a plan together.

Do I need to be home for delivery and pickup?

Someone 18 or older needs to be on-site during delivery and setup so we can walk through placement and go over how everything works. For pickup, you do not need to be present as long as the area around the inflatable is clear and accessible.

Can I rent a bounce house for a school or church event?

Absolutely. We regularly set up bounce houses for school carnivals, church picnics, community fundraisers, and other group events.
